The main aim of the Scottish Schools’ Swimming Association (SSSA) is to foster the development of swimming in Scottish Schools.

It will liaise with all agencies in ensuring that all school pupils have the opportunity for swimming lessons and are taught to swim well. They will try to ensure that appropriate courses for teachers are established.

A major aim is the promotion of water safety.

The SSSA will encourage the competitive aspect of all aquatic activities and will liaise will the Scottish Amateur Swimming Association (SASA) on matters of mutual interest.

Membership of the SSSA is open to schools, and other establishments, providing full time SQA courses to pupils and students below the age of 19, who are members of a recognised area schools’ swimming association.

Solicitors are delighted to support Scottish Schools Swimming
